Students give feedback at open forum held at CSJMU
Kanpur: Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University held an open forum in the university’s Centre for Academics on Tuesday where vice-chancellor Prof Vinay Kumar Pathak asked the final year students of the fine arts department to give feedback on their experience at the university.
The possibilities for senior-junior collaboration to make the department better were also discussed. Dr Anil Kumar Yadav, Registrar, CSJMU, was also present.
The students discussed their journey from being freshers to now in the final year of their course. They also shared their experience about different subjects, their attachment with the department, their consultation with teachers, classroom teaching and plans for the future.
Prof Pathak also discussed the improvements suggested by the students as per their perspectives. In his conversation with the students, he said their experiences can become crucial contributing factors to the department’s development.
He encouraged cooperation between senior and junior students and got information about new developments in their field.
He assured the students that the new innovations and the latest research being done in other institutions, will be made available in the CSJMU campus as well.
