OPINION:
According to the U.S. Flag Code as adopted by the joint resolution of Congress in 1942, the American flag should be displayed at the highest position and in one of central primacy when displayed with other flags not representing other foreign countries (“Biden takes heat for violating U.S. Flag Code with Pride flag display,” Web, June 12).
Clearly, President Biden has sought to denigrate the American flag by displaying a rainbow-colored flag prominently on the White House. For all the communist pundits out there, former President Trump never ordered the White House to display any flag while placing the American flag in a subservient position, nor did the military under him salute a substitute flag in place of the American flag.
