Actress adah sharma from The kerala Story allegedly threatened the movie's producer by demanding Rs 30 crore, according to bollywood critic Umair Sandhu. The kerala Story, a recently released movie that was directed by Sudipto Sen, has encountered fierce opposition in certain states, notably tamil Nadu and Kerala. However, the movie did well in North india, where it made over 200 crores. The kerala Story's lead character is played by actress adah sharma, who also appeared as charlie Chaplin 2's second heroine in Tamil.

She expressed on social media that her movie The kerala Story was the first to do so in india and that no woman-centric movie with a leading lady had ever massed 200 crores at the box office. 

Adah Sharma, a once-glamorous actress, has little options to work in films. She used to play the secondary lead in low-budget films. Adha Sharma was playing the lead in the movie The kerala Story, which was made by Vibul Amrutlal Shah, who is rumoured to have been Adha Sharma's lover. Umair Sandhu, a reviewer for bollywood, recently posted online that adah sharma is the reason the movie overcome controversy and became a great box office success.
