Brandon Williams' digs at Manchester City on social media have left his bosses at Man United unhappy.
The Red Devils left-back used Instagram to hit out at the Citizens on Saturday night in the aftermath of their Champions League success that completed the treble.
Williams took exception to Pep Guardiola's side matching United's feat from the 1998/99 season.
Reminding the club's local rivals that they did the treble first, he wrote on his Instagram story: "Nobody wants a sloppy seconds."
United legend Rio Ferdinand also faced the 22-year-old's wrath after he had congratulated the City squad while on punditry duty for BT Sport.
Williams called Ferdinand two-faced and said: "You don't praise simple as. Fakessssssssss for [money emoji]."
And according to ESPN, United have been left less than impressed with the youngster's views.
It has been said that United have distanced themselves from Williams' comments, and are 'disappointed' and 'unhappy' with the defender.
A source told the news outlet that his comments are 'not welcomed', with Williams' rant likely to only further see him frozen out of the team.
Williams is facing an uncertain future at Old Trafford with the full-back having just a year left on his deal.
