ReutersNEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:11AM(IST)on Tuesday in an upbeat market.
Indiabulls Real Estate(up 4.5 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 2.21 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 1.28 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers(up 1.18 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.9 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Phoenix Mills(down 0.27 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.76 per cent at 509.35 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 104.95 points at 18706.45, while the BSE Sensex was up 363.55 points at 63088.26.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 41 were trading in the green, while 9 were in the red.
Shares of Suzlon Energy, Reliance Power, Vodafone Idea, Zomato and Zee Ent. were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Signet Ind, Nagreeka Export, Inox Wind Energy, Foods & Inns and Karma Energy hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Sahana System, Rachana Infrastructu, GHCL Textiles, Remus Pharmaceutic and SS Infrastructure hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
