NWR services to be affected by Biparjoy

Jaipur: Due to cyclone Biparjoy, several train services from the North Western Railway (NWR) will remain affected on Tuesday with partial and complete cancellations of some trains. Officials said that five trains will remain cancelled and nine trains will see partial cancellations.
According to the NWR schedule, train number 09523 Okha-Delhi Sarai will not run on June 13, while 09524 Delhi Sarai-Okha will not run on June 14. Similarly, 22483 Jodhpur-Gandhigram train has been cancelled from June 12 -14, 22484 Gandhigram-Jodhpur train has been cancelled from June 13-15 and train number 19269 Porbandar-Muzaffarpur train will not run on June 15. Officials said that passengers are advised to take note and make alternative travel arrangements accordingly. “The safety of our passengers and staff is of utmost importance, and these measures have been taken in view of the cyclonic conditions and potential risks associated with the Biparjoy,” said Shashi Kiran, chief public relations officer of NWR. tnn
