Prayagraj: Three little kids- Adhya Sahu (8), Vihan Nishad (9) and Ashna Bhargava (6), on Monday, crossed Yamuna river and made their parents and trainers proud.
A student of class 7 at Little House school and resident of Sadiyapur, Vihan Nishad started swimming from Meerapur Sindu Sagar ghat (Kakraha ghat) at 6.25 am and crossed the river (another side of river bank) Vidhyapeeth Maheva ghat at 6:36am amidst strong wave and current.
Training under the guidance of under the guidance of his trainer Manas Nishad, Vihan took just 11 minutes to cross the river.
Similarly, student of class 3 at Sishu Sangam Convent school and resident of Nai Basti, Adhya Sahu (8) started swimming Kakraha ghat at 6:26am and crossed the river (Vidhyapeeth Maheva ghat) at 6:30am. Adhya crossed the river in 11:30 minutes.
Moreover, class 2 student at St Anthony, Ashna Bhargava under the guidance of her trainer Ajay Khanna started swimming at Kakraha ghat at 6:27am and crossed the river at 6:39am.
The little girl took just 12 minutes to cross the mighty river.
Apart from family members and relatives, citizens of Sangam city welcomed all three little kids for their hard work and commitment to cross the river. Master trainer Tribhuwan Nishad told TOI that all the three kids, who made their trainers and parents proud, were adamant to cross the river.
“The kids were not frightened to see the length and width of the river,” he added.
