Purcell Marian names LeTisha and Jamar Mosley as co-athletic directors


Purcell Marian High School named LeTisha and Jamar Mosley, a couple with more than a decade of combined experience at the school, as co-athletic directors, the school announced in a press release Tuesday afternoon.
LeTisha Mosley enters her sixth year in the school's athletic department having served as a varsity assistant coach for the girls basketball team for the last five seasons and the assistant athletic director since 2021.

"I am so excited for this new chapter at Purcell Marian," LeTisha Mosley said in a statement. "I am eager to continue to lead a department of hardworking coaches and student-athletes."
LeTisha Mosley played four seasons of women's college basketball at Cincinnati Christian University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 2018 with an emphasis on sports management. She earned her master's degree in athletic administration from the University of Cincinnati in 2021.
Jamar Mosley has spent the last eight years at Purcell Marian in a variety of roles. Most recently he was the Dean of Students and Director of the Marianist Excel Program.
Jamar Mosley has been the Purcell Marian girls head basketball coach for the last six years, leading the program to back-to-back state championships in two different divisions, five consecutive district championships and four conference titles.

Prior to Purcell Marian, Jamar Mosley spent a year as an assistant men's basketball coach at Cincinnati Christian University, where he was also a special assistant in the athletic department, according to the press release. Before that, the Hughes High Schol graduate was an assistant coach at his alma mater from 2012-2014. He played collegiate basketball at Trine University in Angolia, Indiana and graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership in 2015. He's currently working toward his Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership and is schedule to graduate in December, according to the school.
"Purcell Marian has such a rich tradition in athletics," Jamar Mosley said in a statement. "I have been blessed to build something special within the girls basketball program and look to continue that success with the athletic department."
Principal Andy Farfsing said in a statement: “LeTisha and Jamar Mosley bring exceptional leadership skills, high expectations, and broad experience in athletics to this role. I am confident that, together, as Co-Directors, they will continue to build upon the legacy of excellence they have brought to Purcell Marian during their tenure here. The future of Purcell Marian Athletics is very bright, and I look forward to all that is to come."
LeTisha and Jamar Mosley will assume the role of co-Directors of athletics immediately, according to the school.
