Inox Wind Energy(up 13.64%), Karma Energy(up 9.90%), Indo Tech Transformers(up 5.00%), Hitachi Energy India(up 4.64%), RTNPOWER(up 3.66%), Jaiprakash Power Ventures(up 3.13%), JSW Energy(up 1.50%), DPSC(up 1.30%), Reliance Power(up 1.26%) and NHPC(up 1.22%) stood among the top gainers.
Power & Instrumentation(Gujarat)(down 6.32%), Jyoti Structures(down 4.57%), KPI Green Energy(down 3.74%), Inox wind(down 3.67%), Orient Green Power Company(down 3.65%), Alstom T&D India(down 3.12%), KEC International(down 1.99%), NLC India(down 1.93%), Torrent Power(down 1.89%) and Energy Development Company(down 1.46%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 114.65 points up at 18716.15, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 418.45 points at 63143.16.
TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 2.39%), Cipla(up 2.24%), Asian Paints(up 2.13%), Titan Company Ltd(up 2.1%), ITC(up 1.93%), Tata Steel(up 1.51%), Reliance Industries(up 1.48%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.43%), Bajaj Finserv(up 1.38%) and JSW Steel(up 1.25%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 1.25%), Adani Enterprises(down 0.9%), HCL Technologies(down 0.73%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 0.6%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 0.57%), State Bank of India(down 0.39%), Tata Motors(down 0.35%), Maruti Suzuki(down 0.35%), Bajaj Auto(down 0.29%) and Bharti Airtel(down 0.24%) closed in the red.
