19-yr-old house help falls to death from 12th floor of residential building in Kota

Kota: Mystery shrouded the death of a 19-year-old woman who died after falling from the 12th floor of a residential building, where she worked as a maid, here in Kunhari police station area on Monday morning. Her class 12 marksheet was found near her body.
Identified as Muskan, resident of Ramchandrapura Chawani in Kota, she had been working as a maid at flats situated in Parshavnath Apartments for the past four months.
Police said they were investigating if the death was a suicide or someone pushed her down. Circle inspector at Kunhari police station Ganga Sahay Sharma said that Muskan’s father had dropped her at Parshavnath Apartments for work early in the morning.
The police officer said that the Class 12 marksheet found near her body raised suspicion as to why she had brought it with her to work. The police have lodged a case under Section 174 of CrPC but and handed over the body to family members after a postmortem conducted later in the day, Sharma said.
