Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 11:27AM

Paradeep Phosphates(up 4.44%), Rama Phosphates(up 4.13%), Madras Fertlizers(up 4.11%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 3.45%), Agro Phos(up 2.52%), National Fertilizer(up 2.00%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.54%), ZUARIAGRO(up 1.54%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 1.36%) and Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.35%) were among the top gainers.

Sikko Industries(down 2.04%), Bohra Industries(down 1.26%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 0.50%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 0.47%), G S F C(down 0.44%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (down 0.22%) and Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.09%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 111.1 points up at 18712.6, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 396.71 points at 63121.42 at around 11:27AM.

Titan Company Ltd(up 1.75%), Hindustan Unilever(up 1.66%), Asian Paints(up 1.59%), ITC(up 1.54%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 1.5%), Axis Bank(up 1.35%), Bajaj Finserv(up 1.3%), Cipla(up 1.2%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(up 1.18%) and Divis Laboratories(up 1.12%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 0.78%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 0.66%), HCL Technologies(down 0.56%), Hero MotoCorp(down 0.3%), State Bank of India(down 0.29%), Coal India(down 0.26%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 0.22%), NTPC(down 0.19%), Bajaj Auto(down 0.07%) and Wipro(down 0.05%) were trading in the red.
