Princy, Kaveri picked for India in softball Asia Cup

Nagpur: Princy Kathane and Kaveri Nandgave have been selected to represent the country in the softball Asia Cup scheduled at Puli, Chinese Taipei, from June 13-17.
The five-day Asia Cup in Puli will be an qualifier event for the softball world cup slated to be held at Japan in October.
Both the city girls, who practice at the Divisional Sports Complex and Nagpur District Softball training center at Bajaj Nagar will be part of the U-15 Indian girls team. Both Princy and Kaveri are students of Nutan Bharat Vidyalaya, Abhyankar Nagar.
They are guided by international softball player Piyush Ambulkar, Ketan Thakre, Rajesh Bhat and Pranay Sukhdeve. Members of the Nagpur District Softball Association and officials of District Sports Office congratulated Princy and Kaveri. tnn
