Jackson McAndrew, Class of 2024 forward from Wayzata High School, visits Xavier Musketeers


Jackson McAndrew, a 6-foot-9 Class of 2024 forward from Wayzata High School in Minnesota and Nike EYBL's Howard Pulley program, is visiting the Xavier Musketeers, according to a tweet from @247HSHoops retweeted by McAndrew.
On3.com's Jamie Shaw reported that McAndrew is expected to visit Notre Dame this weekend, and he's already visited Wisconsin and Creighton.
McAndrew had this to say about Xavier, per Shaw: "I'm visiting them June 12-13. I have gotten to know the staff a lot more, and our relationship has grown. I really like the success that they have been having lately and in the past. Also, I like the way they play and how they would be able to utilize me very well."
McAndrew also has offers, per on3, from Iowa, Nebraska and Northern Iowa. On3 ranks McAndrew 89th in its 2024 On3 150.
McAndrew averaged 17 points and eight rebounds last season while leading Wayzata to a state championship.
Class of 2024 point guard Christian Bliss is expected to visit XU this month, and tweeted that the Muskies are among four finalists.
Late last month, Jonathan Powell, a 6-foot-6 shooting guard from Centerville High School, became XU's first Class of 2024 commitment.
Four Class of 2023 players - point guard Trey Green, forwards Dailyn Swain and Reid Ducharme and center Kachi Nzeh - have signed letters of intent to play for XU.
