4-year-old girl sexually assaulted

Nagpur: Abhijit alias Chiku Maneshwar has been arrested by the MIDC Police for sexually exploiting a 4-year-old girl. A resident of the MIDC, Maneshwar allegedly lured the girl with a chocolate and assaulted her. The accused was arrested and charged under sections 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 of the Protection Of Children against Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. According to the complaint made by the victim’s parents, the MIDC Police added charges under IPC section 376, 376(a) (b), 376 (2) (f), 376 (2) (j) and 377 against the accused. tnn
