Good morning. I’m Dan Horn and I cover enterprise and investigative stories for The Enquirer.
Sports reporter Scott Springer and I wrote a story today about how sports betting upended the baseball programs at the University of Cincinnati and the University of Alabama. We explain why a wager placed in Cincinnati on April 28 sent up “red flags,” and we describe how that bet led to firings at UC and Alabama.
