Share price of ACC rises as Nifty strengthens

Shares of ACC Ltd. gained 0.81 per cent to Rs 1853.35 in Tuesday's trade as of 01:48PM (IST). The stock hit a high price of Rs 1859.4 and low of Rs 1836.15 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 6.26 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 01:48PM shares and turnover at Rs 1.58 crore around that time. The stock of ACC Ltd. quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 2784.95 and 52-week low prices of Rs 1593.5, respectively.

The stock's Beta value, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.31.

Promoters held 50.05 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2023, while foreign investors held 10.06 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 8.9 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 4910.06 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2023, up 7.26 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 4577.64 crore and up 9.48 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 4485.01 crore. Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 235.63 crore, down 40.54 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
