Paradeep Phosphates(up 4.35%), Rama Phosphates(up 3.75%), Madras Fertlizers(up 3.69%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 2.49%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 2.01%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.61%), National Fertilizer(up 1.29%), Agro Phos(up 1.12%), Sikko Industries(up 0.98%) and Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.70%) stood among the top gainers.
Bohra Industries(down 4.45%), G S F C(down 0.82%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 0.79%), KRISHANA(down 0.71%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 0.50%) and Aries Agro(down 0.03%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 114.65 points up at 18716.15, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 418.45 points at 63143.16.
TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 2.39%), Cipla(up 2.24%), Asian Paints(up 2.13%), Titan Company Ltd(up 2.1%), ITC(up 1.93%), Tata Steel(up 1.51%), Reliance Industries(up 1.48%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.43%), Bajaj Finserv(up 1.38%) and JSW Steel(up 1.25%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 1.25%), Adani Enterprises(down 0.9%), HCL Technologies(down 0.73%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 0.6%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 0.57%), State Bank of India(down 0.39%), Tata Motors(down 0.35%), Maruti Suzuki(down 0.35%), Bajaj Auto(down 0.29%) and Bharti Airtel(down 0.24%) closed in the red.
