Government rejects ex-Twitter CEO Dorsey's 'Shut Down' claim as 'outright lie'

Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey alleged that Twitter faced threats of shutdowns in India, Nigeria, and Turkey unless it complied with orders to restrict certain accounts. However, Union Minister Rajeev Chandrashekar vehemently rejected Dorsey's claim regarding the Indian government's pressure on Twitter to block accounts related to farmers' protests, calling it an "outright lie" and an attempt to divert attention from Twitter's dubious history. In an interview on the YouTube show 'Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar,' Dorsey claimed that the Indian government threatened to shut down the platform in India and conduct raids on the houses of Twitter staff.
