Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Monday at 10:19AM

Bohra Industries(up 4.94%), ZUARIAGRO(up 1.45%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.42%), KRISHANA(up 1.37%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 1.30%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(up 1.29%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 1.00%), Rama Phosphates(up 0.88%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.75%) and Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 0.72%) were among the top gainers.

Sikko Industries(down 1.43%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(down 0.84%), Agro Phos(down 0.69%), G S F C(down 0.51%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.39%), Paradeep Phosphates(down 0.26%), Coromandel International(down 0.09%) and Aries Agro(down 0.06%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 29.3 points up at 18592.7, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 81.92 points at 62707.55 at around 10:19AM.

HCL Technologies(up 1.61%), SBI Life(up 1.59%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 1.5%), Infosys(up 1.49%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 1.16%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 1.14%), Bharti Airtel(up 1.12%), Tech Mahindra(up 1.06%), Nestle India(up 0.94%) and Bajaj Finance(up 0.84%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Titan Company Ltd(down 1.17%), Larsen & Toubro(down 0.82%), Asian Paints(down 0.61%), Divis Laboratories(down 0.61%), UltraTech Cement(down 0.52%), IndusInd Bank(down 0.48%), Maruti Suzuki(down 0.37%), ITC(down 0.36%), UPL Ltd(down 0.29%) and Eicher Motors(down 0.25%) were trading in the red.
