E-office resolves over 600 cases

Nagpur: Vidarbha’s first e-office system, implemented by the district commissioner’s office, has swiftly streamlined administrative tasks, resulting in prompt decision-making. Wardha and Bhandara districts have experienced effective implementation of this digital solution.
Over 600 cases have been resolved by using this system in various departments. Commissioner Vijayalakshmi Bidari said the system is being gradually implemented in all the districts of Nagpur division.
Since its launch on January 26, the system has significantly improved work efficiency, ensuring prompt decision-making, secure document handling, and expedited information flow.
Previously, it would take up to seven to ten days to process files in different administrative contexts.
However, the e-office system has reduced the decision-making time to one or two days.
Bidari highlighted the significance of transitioning to a paperless office, emphasizing its administrative importance. tnn
