Jan Aadhaar & IHMS make registration of patients easier at SMS

Jaipur: The Jan Aadhaar card has made the registration of patients easier at SMS Hospital. Patient can simply give their registered contact numbers linked to the Jan Aadhaar cards to at a counter at the hospital to register.
The new Integrated Health Management System (IHMS) automatically accesses the patients’ family record from the Jan Aadhaar database.
The hospital executive sitting at the counter does not have to ask the name of the patient as the Jan Aadhaar details show the names of all the family members on IHMS software. The executive at the counter asks the name of the patient in the family and gives the registration card to the patient’s attendant.
“Registration of patients has become quite simple at our hospital now. We are providing more than 10,000 registration cards daily to patients. We have 28 counters currently, and we have different counters for different categories, including men and women, the elderly, and specially-abled patients,” said an official of SMS Hospital.
