Odisha STF makes fifth arrest in OTP sharing scam case

STF Odisha has arrested one Pritam Kar in OTP sharing scam case on June 11. Pritam Kar was also in direct contact with two ISI agents. “STF Odisha has arrested one more person, Pritam Kar, in OTP sharing scam case. Earlier 4 people were arrested. They used to generate OTPs using pre-activated SIM cards and sold the OTPs to cyber criminals including Pakistani Intelligence Operatives (PIOs) and ISI agents,” informed Odisha Special Task Force DIG JN Pankaj. It is also learned that the SIM and debit card used by the main accused in 2022’s Mangalore auto blast was provided by Pritam Kar.
