Cops seize fake branded watches, accessories worth ₹4 lakh

Nagpur: Tehsil police have seized fake branded watches and accessories worth more than ₹4.27 lakh from two shops at the Tonga Stand in Itwari.
The vigilant team of a branded company had alerted police following which the raids were conducted. Police said that the shop owners sold counterfeit branded watches and accessories with the logo of the original brand which was protected by the Copyright Act.
Two shops, owned by Gaurav Makwana and Pradeep Arora, were raided by police for stocking, selling and manufacturing fake watches and accessories of a branded company.
Apart from the Titan FastTrack watches, metal chains, leather belts, dials and such accessories were seized from the two shops. A case was registered at Tehsil police station against Arora and Makwana. TNN
