PM Modi to address cooperative meet on July 1

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the 17th Indian Cooperative Congress in Delhi on July 1. The two-day event, organised by the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI), will be held with the theme 'Amrit Kaal - Prosperity through Cooperation for a Vibrant India'.
The Indian Cooperative Congress (ICC) is being organised by NCUI, an apex organisation of the cooperative movement, at regular intervals to discuss the issues/challenges faced by the movement so as to formulate effective action plans for future.
"The ICC this year has a great significance as it is being held at a time when the government has taken many steps to strengthen the cooperative movement," said NCUI president Dileep Sanghani.
