Two juvenile males were shot late Saturday night in Douglass Township, Berks County, according to police.
Douglass Township police gave the following account:
At 11:48 p.m., officers responded to the first block of Wilcox Road after two people were reported shot while walking along the 1200 block of Reading Avenue.
One victim was shot in the abdomen, and the other was wounded in the shoulder and knee. Both were transported to Reading Hospital and are expected to be OK.
Police said they are investigating along with detectives from the Berks County district attorney’s office. They believe this to be an isolated incident and that there is no danger to the public.
