Police identify man, woman found dead in Battle Creek

BATTLE CREEK — Police have released the names of a man and woman found dead earlier this month on the city's northeast side.

Battle Creek residents Aniya Cross and Mateo Ramo, both 21, were found dead June 1 inside a home in the 100 block of North Wabash Avenue, police said in a release. Authorities have not said how Cross and Ramon died.

No further information was immediately available.

Police do not believe there is a threat to the public at this time.
