Cyclone Biparjoy: Kachchh District Magistrate, NDRF hold review meeting to check preparedness

District Magistrate of Kachchh and the team of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) held a review meeting in view of Cyclone Biparjoy. Cyclone Biparjoy is likely to make landfall along the Saurashtra-Kutch coast on June 15. PM Modi also held a meeting to review the situation related to the Cyclone. Authorities have evacuated locals from coastal areas in view of the cyclone. Further, the Gujarat government has declared holidays for schools in coastal Kutch, Jamnagar, Devbhumi Dwarka, and Junagadh districts owing to the cyclone.
