The NSE Nifty index closed 38.1 points up at 18601.5, while BSE Sensex ended up 99.08 points at 62724.71.
On the other hand, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.33 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 0.98 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 0.96 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(down 0.82 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 0.80 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty index closed 38.1 points up at 18601.5, while BSE Sensex ended up 99.08 points at 62724.71.
