Youth hit by speeding bike in Jaisalmer, dies

Jaisalmer: A youth was hit by a speeding bike during his night stroll on Bada Bagh road in Jaisalmer on Saturday night. He was immediately rushed to Jawahar Hospital, but due to the severity of his injuries, he was referred to Jodhpur.
He succumbed en route. The body has been placed at the Jawahar Hospital mortuary. In the morning, the family members and community members staged a protest outside the mortuary, demanding a government job on a contractual basis for the deceased's wife, considering their dire economic circumstances. They submitted a memorandum to the district collector, and upon receiving assurance, they took the body with them.
Kamal Singh, the president of the Hajuri community, stated that the accident occurred around 10 pm near the circuit house, where a speeding bike collided with Leeladhar, resulting in severe head injuries.tnn
