OPINION:
As a former law-enforcement officer who hates injustice in any form, I have detested watching the likes of Attorney Gen. Merrick B. Garland’s Department of Injustice and FBI Director Christopher Wray break the back of our judicial system by relentlessly going after former President Donald Trump (“Polls: Nearly half of Americans say Trump indictment is politically motivated,” Web June 11). In their hunt for Trump, they have shown the vengeance of the Gestapo looking for a dissident who spoke the truth about a mad man.
These so-called leaders in the upper echelons of our judicial system have weaponized their agencies for the sake of politics, abusing their power by misleading the American people far too many times. Felonious charges of collusion with Russia cost the taxpayers millions of dollars in bogus impeachment trials and tainted Trump’s character in the eyes of the world. This latest indictment was concocted simply to stop Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.
I fought Communists in Vietnam while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and killed the enemies of my country. What I see now in America is a takeover of that same beloved country by dictators in the Democratic Party. They will stop at nothing to stay in power — just like all of those Communist dictators who’ve enslaved their people to the government.
Turning a blind eye to the actions of President Biden, Hillary Clinton and former President Barack Obama is unacceptable. There are approximately 75 million Trump supporters who should make a citizen’s arrest now against the real criminals who have, to date, gotten away with their crimes.
