Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: HAL(Rs. 1467.56 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1075.57 crore), Go Fashion(Rs. 1058.62 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 987.42 crore), HDFC(Rs. 866.29 crore), Zomato(Rs. 832.15 crore), TCS(Rs. 752.76 crore), RIL(Rs. 731.50 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 727.52 crore) and Adani Ent.(Rs. 694.46 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 38.1 points up at 18601.5, while BSE Sensex rose 99.08 points to 62724.71.
In the Nifty index, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 3.39 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 2.69 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(up 2.05 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 1.59 per cent) and Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 1.37 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.33 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 0.98 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 0.96 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(down 0.82 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 0.80 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
