Wrexham goalkeeper Ben Foster will be taking to the pitch at Old Trafford tonight as he features in Soccer Aid.
Foster, who signed a new one-year contract at the League Two side on Friday, will be playing for the Rest of the World XI against England.
But the now social media star and YouTube personality is English so why is he lining up on the opposing team at Soccer Aid?
Why is Ben Foster playing for the Rest of the World?
Foster is playing for the Rest of the World simply because he wants to be a part of Soccer Aid this year.
The 40-year-old would have featured for England but was unable to as David James has already been selected as the team's goalkeeper.
So despite not qualifying to play in the Rest of the World XI, he will be between the sticks for them at Old Trafford on Sunday.
With Foster’s appearance expected to lead to a large chunk of his 1.4million YouTube subscribers tuning in, Soccer Aid seem to have bent the rules for him to feature for the opposing side.
Speaking to LiveScore about featuring in Soccer Aid, he said: “We’re really, really excited for it. I think I’ll find it fairly easy because it’s kind of both of my worlds mixing together in a way.
“Having played football for the best part of 20 years, I’ve jumped into this new sort of YouTube world.
“I’ve already done a lot of videos where we’re sort of playing with YouTubers. Now we understand that world, it should be fairly easy for me!”
