Police have arrested two persons for allegedly kidnapping the manager of a private company in a bid to extort Rs 5 lakh.
As per a statement issued by Rajendra Sahane, senior inspector of Alankar police station, the accused Ishan Kadam (31) of Warje and Saurabh Gore (30) of Undri worked as “agents” in insurance business.
They allegedly kidnapped Rakesh Patil, manager of a private finance company, on June 8 and took him to a hotel in Kothrud area, following a financial dispute with him over sharing commission.
