Manchester United fans have begged the club to sign Andre Onana over Jordan Pickford.
Reports have emerged that United are looking to sign Pickford from Everton this summer.
It comes as Erik ten Hag looks for replacements for David de Gea, whose future remains very much up in the air.
The Spaniard's contract expires at the end of the month, but there has been little news on an extension.
And the Red Devils boss is keen on bringing in a goalkeeper that fits his philosophy and can play out from the back, something De Gea has struggled with.
Pickford is a key player at Everton and is one of the main reasons they managed to stave off relegation this season, but a move away could be on the cards as United eye him.
However Red Devils fans are desperate not to see the England No. 1 arrive at Old Trafford and have instead insisted they would like to see Inter Milan star Onana.
The Cameroon international has been in stellar form since arriving at the San Siro and United have been linked, as well as Chelsea.
The goalkeeper was one of Inter's best players on Saturday night against Manchester City in their 1-0 Champions League final defeat and his passing caught the eye.
talkSPORT's very own Mark Goldbridge, a diehard United fan, led the calls, saying: "If I was buying a keeper I'd buy Onana.

"The confidence and passing ability in a final of that magnitude was mesmerising.
"There was one towards the end 60 yards straight down the middle of the pitch along the floor."
And one fan replied: "How about when he dribbled 30 yards out of his goal! Like an extra outfielder."
Another said: "I need that. We need that. And this transfer is more realistic than Diogo Costa."
A third posted: "He was incredible. I never saw a keeper playing this far from his goal."
Whether a new goalkeeper is signed remains to be seen with the De Gea situation still needing clarification.
There is an option to extend his contract by another year, but United appear reluctant so far, largely down to his extravagant £375,000-a-week wages.
If a new goalkeeper is signed, it is likely that the United star would be relegated to the bench.
