Nagpur: Shekhar Choudhuri was booked for the electrocution of neighbour Prabhakar Umathe’s domesticated dog at Vadoda on June 8 in Mouda tehsil. Choudhuri had electrified his farm’s fencing with live wire for keeping wild animals away in the night. Umathe too had kept a dog to keep away wild animals at his farm. The dog had come in contact with the electrified fencing before getting electrocuted.
Two held with MD during ‘Opn Narcops’
Two drug peddlers have been nabbed by crime branch during an action as the part of the ongoing ‘Operation Narcops’ launched by cmmissioner of police Amitesh Kumar. The two persons, Pankaj Sathwane (28) and Sonu Ugreja (20), were caught red-handed with 3.5 gms of MD worth around ₹35,000 by Nandanvan police. tnn
