Missing boy, 9, comes home

Ludhiana: A nine-year-old boy of Transport Nagar, who had gone missing two days ago, returned home on Saturday. The boy claimed that he had been abducted by three men when he was cycling in the area.
The victim has been identified as Dhruv Kumar, 9. His father Rinku Kumar works as a cook with a transporter. Rinku’s employer Hardeep Singh said that Dhruv was last seen cycling in the area at around 4pm on Thursday. When the family realised that he was missing, they started searching for him. When they could not find him, they lodged a police complaint, after which his pictures were circulated. Hardeep Singh added, “On Saturday morning, a man brought the child back with his cycle. The boy said that three men in a car kidnapped him and kept him without food for two days." tnn
