Kanpur Gymkhana win KDMA match

Kanpur:Shivam Katiyar’s deadly spell ( 7 wickets for just 9 runs) helped Kanpur Sporting Union beat Kanpur Gymkhana by 72 runs in KDMA league match held here at Ram Lakhan Bhatt ground on Friday.
Kanpur Sporting Union batting first scored 112 runs in 28.4 overs. Gaurav Mishra scored highest 33 runs for Sporting Union. Kanpur Gymkhana in reply collapsed on mere 40 runs. Shivam Katiyar spun the ball beautifully and picked 7 wickets conceding just 9 runs in 8 overs.Neeraj Sharma from other end also bagged 2 wickets for 9 runs.

KN Titans in another match drubbed Southern club by 6 wickets at CCA Mandhana ground. Southern club put into bat scored 88 runs and Titans in response scored 89 runs for the loss of 4 wickets.

Bajpai U-16 cricket: South Legend defeated Rupani XI by 53 runs in Late J C Bajpai memorial U-16 cricket tournament being played here at Guru Gobind Singh Stadium on Friday. South Legend decided to bat first and scored 224 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Thereafter they wrapped the innings of Rupani XI on 171 runs. Aditya Singh was adjudged as man of the match.
