Protesters seek FIR against BJP leader

Ludhiana: Five days after a clash between two groups at Arya Samaj Temple in Kidwai Nagar, one group staged a protest outside Division number 2 police station, seeking an FIR against senior BJP leader Parveen Bansal and his accomplice for allegedly assaulting them. The agitation continued till a report was filed. The agitators said the police had not taken any action even though they had produced a CCTV footage in which Bansal could be seen attacking people with a stick.
They also wrote a letter with their blood to the Ludhiana CP. Dev Amit Sharma of Hindu Takht, a Hindu outfit, said,“If they fail to provide us justice, we may approach the court.”
ACP- Central Rajesh Sharma said, “The investigation is already on. We have sought a few more days to complete the probe and lodge an FIR.” tnn
