HYDERABAD: The special investigation team (SIT), which is probing the Telangana State Public Service Commission question paper leak case, on Friday filed a preliminary chargesheet in a local court against 37 accused.
SIT officials said the accused took Rs 1.6 crore from the job aspirants before leaking the question papers to them. "The total money exchanged between the accused for buying and selling various question papers is Rs 1.63 crore. We have sent all the material evidence to the Central Forensic Science Laboratory and also obtained expert opinion," additional commissioner of police (crimes and SIT), Hyderabad, AR Srinivas said.
