21-year-old Bhojpuri singer named Abhishek aka Babul Bihari was recently arrested in Gurugram for allegedly raping a minor girl and posting her objectionable pictures on social media. Abhishek, a native of Bihar, who is known to have a YouTube channel with 27000 followers allegedly befriended and lured a 13-year-old girl into accompanying him to a hotel room two years ago, where he raped her. However, the girl distanced herself from him after the incident and didn’t speak to anyone about it. After Abhishek recently posted her objectionable pictures online, the girl’s family spoke to her and she revealed her ordeal. The parents immediately rushed her to the police station and filed an FIR against Abhishek under the POCSO Act after which he was arrested within hours. Reportedly, he was produced in a city court and sent into judicial custody a while ago.
