Four with links to international terror body held from Gujarat's Porbandar
Four people, including a foreign national, having links with an international terrorist organisation were arrested by Gujarat Police's Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) from Porbandar on Saturday.A special team of the ATS had been active for the past few days for special operations in Porbandar and surrounding areas. "During their operations, the ATS detained four people including a foreign national associated with the terrorist organization," sources said today.

Clamour for peace as fresh violence rocks Manipur
The CBI on Friday registered six FIRs and constituted a special investigation team (SIT) to probe the incidents of large-scale violence in Manipur last month. The 10-member SIT will be led by a DIG rank officer, sources said.The cases recommended for a CBI probe include a common conspiracy case to investigate whether the violence was pre-planned.
Assam Rifles holds meet to restore people's faith in Manipur

Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday directed the state director general of police Ashok Kumar and additional director general of police (ADGP), law and order, V Murugesan, to take “strict action against the accused in cases of “love jihad”. This comes amid the ongoing communal tension in some parts of the state with “at least four ‘love jihad’ incidents reported in the past 12 days”.
