Man held for strangling 32-year-old son to death over petty issue in Thane

THANE: A 55-year-old man was arrested for allegedly strangling his son to death in Thane, after the latter sold some pipes from the house without his knowledge, police said on Saturday.
The Dongarwadi Nalgaon area resident allegedly strangled the 32-year-old on Friday.
He was arrested under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code, assistant police inspector K D Bacchav of Khinavli police station said.
The victim's body has been sent for post-mortem and further probe is under way, he added.
