DUMKA: Police in Godda district on Friday morning recovered the body of kidnapped Mohammad Nirajuddin (55), the principal of privately run Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad Inter College in Basantrai locality of the district. Police arrested three persons in connection with the crime and revealed that the killing was the outcome of a quarrel between two brothers from Bihar over the management of another college located in Jharkhand and headed by the elder brother of the deceased.
Nirajuddin was reportedly abducted on Thursday around 7 pm from the Koriyana bridge under the Basantarai police station when the two of them were going home to Parsiya village of Bihar's Bhagalpur district in an SUV.
On Friday morning, police found the body of Nirajuddin in Diyaori village under the Mahagama police station.
Police arrested Aman Raj, the driver of the deceased, Md Shakir, son of Nirajuddin's brother Mohammad Rustam, and Kapildeo Das, in connection with the crime.
