At least three people have died and many are feared trapped after an illegal coal mine collapsed in Jharkhand's Dhanbad on Friday. At least three people are feared dead and several others trapped after an illegal coal mine collapsed near Jharkhand’s Dhanbad. The incident took place on Friday at 10:30 am in the Bhowra Colliery Area, which falls under Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), located 21 km from Dhanbad. According to eyewitnesses, local villagers were involved in unauthorized mining activities when the collapse occurred. Rescue operations are presently in progress to save those trapped in the mine.
