OPINION:
I will not get into the dispute between former President Trump and former Vice President Pence over the certification of the 2020 election; there is a far more important issue we should think about when considering Mr. Pence as a candidate for president.
During the 2016 vice presidential “debate” between Mr. Pence and Sen. Time Kaine, Sen. Kaine kept talking over Mr. Pence, preventing him from making a single point. Mr. Pence did absolutely nothing to stop him. (Neither did the moderator, who undoubtedly was chosen for being a hack of the Democratic Party.) Seeing that nothing was going to be done, Sen. Kaine not only continued, but seemed to become more contemptuous as the event continued.
If elected president, would Mr. Pence be equally impotent in confronting America’s foes? It is something to think seriously about.
