Man killed, 2 bros injured in clash with kin

Varanasi: A man was killed while his two brothers were injured when their uncle and cousin brothers attacked them with a sharp-edged weapons in a dispute over plucking mangos from an orchard in Kamasin village under Mirganj police station in Jaunpur.
SO Mirganj Brijesh Kumar Gupta said that six persons of two groups were injured in a clash in Kamasin village on Thursday morning.
All of them were rushed to the district hospital where one Girijashankar Prajapati died during the course of treatment. His two brother Rudra Pratap and Ramjit and other three persons have been admitted to hospital, he said adding, the police have received complaints from both the sides.
Girijashankar and his uncle had a dispute over plucking mangos from an orchard. When Girijashankar’s brother Rudra and Ramjit came in his support their uncle and cousins attacked the trio with sharp-edged weapons. tnn
