How to update mobile number in SBI via Internet banking
Step 2: Go to 'Profile' tab.
Step 3: Click on 'Personal Details' link.
Step 4: Enter profile password
Step 5: Display Name, Email ID and mobile number registered in INB will be displayed.
Step 6: Click on the hyper link 'Change Mobile Number-Domestic only (Through OTP/ATM)'.
A new screen 'Personal Details-Mobile Number Update' with three tabs 'Create Request', 'Cancel Request' and 'Status' will appear.
Step 7: Input 'new mobile number'.
Step 8: Input Re-input 'new mobile number'.
Step 9: Click on 'Submit' button.
A pop-up message 'Verify and confirm your mobile number xxxxxxxxxx' will appear on the screen.
Step 10: Click 'Ok' to proceed.
A new screen with the following three different modes for approval of change of mobile number will be displayed; select the one and approve the same.

How to view status and cancellation of request?
Step 2: Go to 'Profile' tab.
Step 3: Click on 'Personal Details' link.
Step 4: Display Name, Email ID and mobile number registered in INB will be displayed.
Step 5: Click on the hyper link 'Change Mobile Number-Domestic only (Through OTP/ATM)'.
A new screen 'Personal Details-Mobile Number Update' with three tabs 'Create Request', 'Cancel Request' and 'Status' will appear.
Step 6: Click on 'Status' tab to view the present status (Pending/Successful) of your request to change mobile number through INB.

How to update mobile number at SBI Branch
Step 1: Fill in a Letter of Request
Step 2: Submit the above letter.
Step 3: After necessary verification, the linking will be done by the branch.
You will receive an SMS on your registered mobile number regarding the status of updation.

How to update mobile number at SBI ATM
Step 2: Select Registration option from the options available
Step 3: Enter your ATM pin
Step 4: Select Mobile Number Registration option from the options visible on screen
Step 5: Select Change Mobile Number option from the options visible on screen
Step 6: You will be asked to enter your old mobile number and confirm it
Step 7: Post which you will be asked to enter the new mobile number and confirm it
Different OTPs will be sent to both the new and old mobile numbers with the following message:
Please send OTP and reference number received in SMS from new as well as the existing mobile number in the following format ACTIVATE IOTP VALUE + REF NUMBER TO 567676 within 4 hours
Your mobile number will be updated.
