Share price of Jubilant Food falls as Nifty weakens

Shares of Jubilant Foodworks Ltd. slipped 0.26 per cent to Rs 484.65 in Friday's trade as of 01:17PM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 488.6 and low of Rs 481.9 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 17.33 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 01:17PM shares and turnover at Rs 0.59 crore around that time.

The stock of Jubilant Foodworks Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 652.2 and Rs 412.2, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.0.

Promoters held 41.94 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2023, while foreign investors held 25.38 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 21.48 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 1289.6 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2023, down 3.86 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 1341.38 crore and down 8.5 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 1188.61 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 28.54 crore, down 70.5 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
