BJP seeks removal of Cheluvarayaswamy

Mandya: BJP activists on Thursday submitted a memorandum to governor Thaawarchand Gehlot through Mandya DC HN Gopala Krishna requesting the removal of N Cheluvarayaswamy both as a minister and an MLA.
BJP activist Shivakumar Aradya, in the memorandum, has mentioned that the minister’s statement about not helping people other than those who had worked for him during the assembly polls was unconstitutional and added that when the minister took the oath of office, it was clearly mentioned that the person shall not have hatred against anyone and treat everyone as equal. Despite taking the oath of office, Cheluvarayaswamy made such a statement and hence, he should be removed both as a minister and an MLA, he alleged.
