Workers death: Contractor held in Kota

Kota: The police here on Wednesday arrested contractor of a construction company over the death of three sanitary labourers while cleaning sewer lines. He was produced before the court on Thursday which sent him to police custody for a day. Meanwhile, Kota collector formed a three-member committee to probe into negligence in work by RUIDP officials.
On the report by Devi Lal, cousin of one of the three deceased sanitary workers, Kamal, the police lodged a case against an Ahmadabad-based construction company and its local contractor Kuldeep Singh Hada, a resident of Umrach village in Bundi under Section 304 of IPC on Tuesday.
